Union bulldog negotiator named to convention center board

The head of the Pennsylvania Convention Center's largest union has just been named to its board.

Edward Coryell Sr., head of the 8,000-member Carpenter?s District Council, will now serve on the 15-member board overseeing operations at the convention center.

Now Coryell will ultimately approve new contracts being negotiated with the center?s unions.
