Sandersville Railroad VP to Speak at Georgia College Commencement

On Dec. 8, 2012, about 250 undergraduate and graduate students will receive their degrees from Georgia College.

This ceremony marks the first December commencement since 2005.

Ben Tarbutton III, Chair of the Board of Regents and Assistant Vice President of the Sandersville Railroad Company will be the keynote speaker.

The processional begins at 12:45 p.m., and commencement at 1:00 p.m. at Centennial Center, which is located at 251 South Clark Street, Milledgeville, Ga. For those who cannot attend, commencement will also be broadcast live at www.gcsu.edu.

Members of the news media who wish to attend the ceremony should contact the University Communications Office for credentials no later than Friday, Dec. 7.?
